What is the Lex Physics & Engineering Team?

Physics students from all backgrounds meet twice a week at the Lexington Community Center to help each other with HW and to study for upcoming competitions. Teams for physics competitions requiring team participation, such as the physics bowl, will be selected through a tryout. 

We also plan on hosting and writing the first MAPP Invitational Physics tournament! 

Where and when are meetings?

Monday+tuesday every week, from 9/22 to 12/9 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in rooms 221, 230, 237, or 217 (members will be notified beforehand) at the Lexington Community Center (39 Marrett Rd, Lexington, MA 02421). 

Feel free to attend meetings according to your own availability.

Who can come and do I need to pay?

Anyone needing help on physics HW or who is interested in joining team practices! There is a $200 dollar reccomended donation. We accept Zelle to 781-869-0739, venmo to "Aaron-Yu-102" or cash/check.

What happens to the proceeds?

All proceeds are collected with our nonprofit, MAPP, to hold other similar events!
